The Role

Gove District Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Ambulatory Care Manager to lead a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within one of the Northern Territory’s most unique and rewarding healthcare settings.

About You

You are an experienced nurse or nurse/midwife with the ability to deliver safe, culturally appropriate, and patient-centred care while coordinating outpatient consultation, review, and recall services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

You bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, or eligibility for same
  • Graduate Diploma, or equivalent qualification, relevant to the specialty area
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Ability to support service improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practice to improve outcomes and service delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build productive working relationships and manage conflict effectively
  • Ability to support a positive workplace culture and adapt work practices to meet service and consumer needs
  • Demonstrated understanding of the social and cultural factors influencing healthcare delivery for individuals and communities
