$145,686 – $156,383

(including salary $123,717 – $134,257)

Two vacancies are available, either ongoing or fixed for up to 18 months

 

This position offers a career changing opportunity for an experienced Child and Family Health Nurse who is interested in living and working in remote communities.  The Child and Family Health nurse provide a specialised service within the township of Tennant Creek.  The Child and Family Health Nurse is part of a multidisciplinary team providing services within Tennant Creek and to outlying remote communities.

 

The Barkly region is known for its beautiful desert landscapes whilst in Tennant Creek take the opportunity of swimming, canoeing or kayaking on Lake Maryanne or just sit back and relax and enjoy the scenic landscape.  This position is outreach based and remote travel is required to fulfil the requirements of the position.

 

Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
