- Salary of $106,382.00 plus 12.5% super and salary sacrifice opportunities available
- Permanent full-time position
- Monday to Friday role, no shift work!

The Role:
As the Community Midwife you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Women’s Health Services across multiple remote clinics in the region.
Based at the main hub you will then travel regularly to remote communities across the region, supporting clinics and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality women’s health and maternal health programs.
Some of the responsibilities of this position include:
- Antenatal and postnatal midwifery care
- Women’s health checks and cervical screening programs
- Sexual health services and education
- Supporting maternal and child health programs including 0–5-year-old services
- Population health initiatives including breast screening and preventative health programs
- Clinical education, mentoring and support for nursing and Aboriginal Health Practitioner staff
To be eligible you must:
- Be fully registered with AHPRA with no restrictions
- Have a minimum of 12 months midwifery experience
- Hold a current unrestricted manual driver’s licence
- Have experience in maternal health, women’s health, remote health or primary health care
