About the Position
Blueprint Nursing is currently seeking experienced Clinical Nurses (CNs) and Remote Area Nurses (RANs) for upcoming Remote Primary Health Care contracts across the Torres & Cape region of Far North Queensland.
Current opportunities include Aurukun, Kowanyama, Saibai Island, Laura, Pormpuraaw, Hope Vale and Weipa, with flexible 4–12-week contracts available, travel and accommodation provided, and Christmas & New Year contracts now available.
Offering $82/hr base rate + penalties, these remote contracts provide the opportunity to work within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, delivering primary health care, emergency response and on-call services while working as a key member of the senior clinical team. Many roles involve first on-call responsibilities, triage, emergency presentations and participation in portfolio and audit activities.
We’re Looking For
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years’ acute, rural or remote nursing experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) & Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) & Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
- Previous first on-call experience & Triage qualification
- Manual driver’s licence highly desirable
