We’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse (Mental Health – Child and Youth) to join our team in Charters Towers—where your work will directly support young people, families, and the wider community.

  • Delivering evidence-based mental health care to children and young people
  • Providing case management and care coordination for complex presentations

  • Contributing to service development and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience or strong interest in mental health, particularly child and youth
  • A commitment to recovery-oriented, consumer-centred care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a regional setting

 

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health or working towards
  • Eligibility for Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) status
