How you will make a difference:
You’ll make a difference in this role by ensuring freight (clinical equipment and consumables) within our CRANAplus warehouse are checked, prepared, restocked and ready to be sent across Australia for successful education course delivery.
What you will be doing (Responsibilities and Duties):
Coordinate freight within the CRANAplus warehouse and oversee Equipment needs:
- Provide troubleshooting and product support to the CRANAplus team
- Coordinate asset registers and undertake maintenance practices and scheduling with existing equipment.
- Provide advice and training to Clinical Educators and Volunteer Facilitators in relation to the handling and care of equipment, inclusive of work health and safety provisions and practices.
- Prepare restocks post course reports and liaise with admin and logistics around sending onto courses
- Ensure medical equipment is clean, and in line with hygiene standards and expectations
- Organise education trunk sets and prepare them for freight departure
- Liaise with education admin and logistics officer for freight arrival/departure times to ensure freight preparation
- Manage end of year product reviews of each piece of equipment
- Ensure equipment depreciation schedule is updated regularly
Stay abreast of Industry trends, changes, and technical advancements:
- Provide advice to the Education Operations Manager on new equipment and set requirements.
- Provision of training to the Education Team in the use of, setting ranges, and features of equipment.
- Provide advice to the Remote Clinical Educators and wider team on new trends, opportunities, and technology advancements.
Adhere to policy and undertake continuous improvement activities that enhance the effectiveness of CRANAplus:
- Ensure familiarity of workplace policies and procedures including human resources and occupational health and safety and comply at all times;
- Stay abreast of CRANAplus needs and trends by participating in own personal and professional development programs and by maintaining a network of associates where information sharing can contribute to innovation and improvement activities;
- This position holder may be directed to carry out additional duties that are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training to assist CRANAplus in meeting its overall objectives
- Contribute to efficient, effective and ethical investment of CRANAplus resources, including financial and resource management and reporting, including compliance with the CRM and Google Drive procedures.
- From time to time you will be required to assist in other locations. You will also be required to travel intrastate, or interstate, as required.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
Essential
- Enrolled/ Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Health Professional AHPRA registered
- Experience in the use, management, and maintenance of medical equipment
- Experience working across a range of technology solutions and programs and is adaptable to learning new systems and can apply innovation.
- Ability to acquire, or demonstrated knowledge of warehouse practices, and work health and safety principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in working with a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated negotiation and acquisition skills
- Ability to research, and exhibit understanding of equipment specifications and technology.
- Organised with attention to detail, and a systems-based approach to resource management
- Demonstrates initiative, is self-driven, and can work with professional autonomy.
Desirable
- qualification to undertake tag and testing of electrical equipment
- Ability to travel within Australia as required and agreed.
