About the Position
Blueprint Nursing is currently seeking experienced Remote Area Nurses (RANs) and Primary Health Care Managers (PHCMs/Clinic Managers) for upcoming contract opportunities across remote communities throughout the Top End Northern Territory.
With 4-8 week contracts available, travel and accommodation provided, and immediate starts available, these opportunities offer exposure to true remote Primary Health Care, emergency response, chronic disease management and Aboriginal Health practice within some of Australia’s most unique and rewarding locations.
Current opportunities include Wadeye, Umbakumba, Pirlangimpi, Julanimawu and Groote Eylandt, offering N4 RAN rates of $102/hr + penalties and N5 Clinic Manager rates of $110/hr + penalties, these contracts can provide significant additional earning potential through overtime, call-outs and on-call responsibilities.
Working within some of Australia’s most remote Aboriginal communities, these roles suit clinicians who are confident working autonomously, managing emergencies and adapting to the unique challenges and rewards of remote practice.

We’re Looking For
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 2+ years’ Remote Area Nursing experience
- Previous on-call, emergency response and autonomous remote practice experience
- Remote Emergency Care (REC or equivalent) & Maternity Emergency Care (MEC or equivalent)
- Immunisation Provider qualification & current manual driver’s licence
- Rheumatic Heart Disease/Bicillin administration experience & Stryker theory/practical training essential
- PCIS and i-STAT experience highly regarded
- 4WD training, NT Health experience and postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
