About the Position
Blueprint Nursing is currently seeking experienced Remote ED, Acute, Rural Generalist and Clinical Nurses for upcoming contracts across the Torres & Cape region of Far North Queensland.
Current opportunities include Bamaga Hospital, Cooktown MPHS, Thursday Island Hospital and Weipa Integrated Health Service, with flexible 4–12-week contracts available, travel and accommodation provided, and Christmas & New Year contracts now available.
Offering some of Queensland’s highest-paying rural and remote contracts, with RN rates up to $78/hr + penalties and CN rates up to $82/hr + penalties, these opportunities provide diverse clinical exposure across Emergency, Acute, Rural Generalist, Theatre, Renal and Maternity services. Working within some of Queensland’s most unique rural and remote Hospital and MPHS settings, many roles include on-call responsibilities and require clinicians capable of working autonomously within multidisciplinary teams. Making them ideal stepping-stone opportunities for clinicians looking to expand their remote nursing skills and build confidence in rural and remote practice.

We’re Looking For
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 3-5 years’ acute, ED, rural or remote nursing experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) & Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Triage qualification & previous emergency nursing experience
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) & Maternity Emergency Care (MEC) highly desirable
- Rural Generalist, Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics, Endoscopy, Renal or Maternity experience highly regarded
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification highly desirable
- Applicants with current Torres & Cape credentialing encouraged to apply
