Dallas McKeown is a senior Yuuwaalaray/Euahlayi woman with more than 40 years of experience in health and wellbeing across primary health care, health promotion, education, research, project management, health administration, and community development. She has held executive leadership, advisory, and management roles across the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector and national rural and remote health organisations, including CRANAplus, Apunipima Cape York Health Council, Wuchopperen Health Service and Queensland Health.

Dallas is a strong advocate for improving the health and wellbeing of First Peoples and strengthening outcomes for people living in rural and remote communities. She is committed to supporting culturally safe healthcare, workforce development, and community-led approaches that empower individuals, families, and communities to achieve better health outcomes.

Throughout her career, Dallas has contributed to numerous local, state, and national boards and advisory committees, sharing her expertise to influence policy, strategy, and service delivery. She is dedicated to mentoring and supporting current and emerging leaders and creating opportunities for learning, growth, and professional development across the rural and remote health workforce.
