🩺 About the Role

As a Diabetes Educator, you’ll provide culturally responsive education and support to individuals and communities living with diabetes. Working across diverse healthcare settings, you’ll empower patients to better manage their health through education, care planning, and evidence-based interventions.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently, adapt to varied clinical environments, and become a trusted resource within remote healthcare teams and communities.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) status
  • Postgraduate qualification in Diabetes Education and Management
  • Accreditation with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current manual driver’s licence
