Emergency Department Nurse – Regional Queensland Adventure Awaits!

SustainHealth Recruitment is seeking Emergency Department Registered Nurses for exciting contract opportunities across regional Queensland — working with leading public and private health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide after-hours leadership across the hospital
- Coordinate safe staffing levels and skill mix based on patient acuity
- Support Nurse Unit Managers and department leaders
- Oversee patient admissions and hospital flow
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Manage competing priorities and operational demands effectively
- Promote best practice standards and quality patient care
- Liaise effectively with public and private healthcare stakeholders

About the Role:
- Start ASAP or within the next few weeks
- Rotating roster, Monday to Sunday (Full-time hours)
- Work in a supportive and dynamic ED environment
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ Emergency Department experience
- AHPRA Registered with full Australian working rights
- Access to a car (desirable but not essential)
- Required Certificates:
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Triage Competency
- Resuscitation Certification (Resus)
