SustainHealth are seeking Remote Area Nurses (RANs) to support a range of essential primary health care programs in remote communities / health services across Australia.

These are incredible opportunities to step into a varied, autonomous and highly rewarding nursing roles where no two days are the same, delivering care that directly impacts community health outcomes.

 

Programs may include:

  • Sexual health & STI screening clinics
  • Men’s health clinics
  • Women’s health services
  • Child & maternal health programs
  • Chronic disease management
  • Immunisation nurses

 

We are also open to speaking to RN’s with strong primary health care experience looking to step into remote practice.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Post graduate nursing experience with 12 months in Primary health/specific specialty
  • Previous experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service/Community
  • Up to date mandatory certificates: ALS/BLS, Manual Handling etc.
  • Desired – Immunisation Giving Certificate
  • Full drivers licence
