About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Community Health Nurses and Remote Area Nurses for contract opportunities with the Kimberley Population Health Unit (KPHU) in Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to community‑centred primary healthcare across some of the state’s most remote, culturally rich, and diverse communities. 🌍
We offer 6–12 week locum contracts supporting primary healthcare teams in remote community clinics.
Contract dates available from June through to August 📅, with flexibility to suit your professional and personal schedule.

About You
- Current AHPRA registration
• Experience in community health and remote primary healthcare
• Acute care and/or emergency response experience
• First on‑call capability
• Manual driver’s licence 🚙
Required Certifications:
• Immunisation Provider Certificate (updated within 12 months) 💉
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (updated within 12 months)
Highly Desirable:
• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Health
• 4WD experience/certificate
