About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is seeking skilled and committed Remote Area Nurses to deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services across South Australia, including the APY Lands and unique Aboriginal Medical Service locations.
These contracts offer the opportunity to work autonomously across diverse clinical environments—responding to emergency presentations, managing chronic disease, and supporting community-based health initiatives.

We offer 6–12 week locum contracts supporting primary healthcare teams in remote community clinics.

About You
- Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years’ RN experience in Australia, including emergency care experience and confidence working on‑call
• Manual driver’s licence 🚙
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Immunisation Provider 💉
Highly Desirable:
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
• Pharmacotherapeutics
- Post‑graduate qualifications
• Experience in Australian primary healthcare, remote clinics, or rural emergency settings
