Katherine Neil

Co-General Manager – Member Services & Workforce Support

Katherine is a registered nurse and midwife with extensive experience spanning executive leadership, management, and corporate governance. A Fellow of CRANAplus, she is a committed advocate for improving the health and wellbeing of all Australians, particularly those living in regional, rural, and remote communities. 

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) with Honours, a Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery, and a Master of Public Health. She is dedicated to maintaining high standards of professional practice and advancing equitable access to healthcare. She is deeply committed to improving the health and wellbeing of First Peoples and supporting meaningful progress toward genuine reconciliation. 

Throughout her career, Katherine has contributed to numerous federal and state committees and advisory forums, providing expertise on the unique challenges and opportunities within rural and remote health. She currently serves on the Board of the Nurse & Midwife Health Program Australia and is a Practitioner Member of the Queensland Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
