Katrina Seng is a senior health executive with extensive experience leading nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary services across rural, regional and remote Australia. She currently serves as Regional Director of Nursing and Midwifery with WA Country Health Service in the Pilbara, providing executive leadership in clinical governance, workforce sustainability, quality improvement and equitable access to care.

Raised in Chinchilla, Queensland, Katrina’s passion for rural health was shaped by growing up in a close-knit country community where her parents ran a local business and service to others was central to everyday life. These early experiences underpin her strong commitment to community-centred, sustainable healthcare.

Katrina has led significant service reforms, workforce initiatives and education programs, and is known for her collaborative, values-driven leadership style. She holds a Master of Health Administration, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia. A wife and mother of three, Katrina continues to live and work in rural and remote Australia, bringing lived experience and empathy to her leadership.
