🩺 About the Role
As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to remote WA communities. This includes emergency response, chronic disease management, health promotion, and autonomous clinical practice. You’ll become an integral and trusted part of the community while building your remote skillset.
✅ What You’ll Need
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Remote emergency care experience and confidence working on‑call
- Manual driver’s licence
- Nursing degree + 5+ years clinical RN experience in Australia
Current or working towards:
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Paediatric ALS (PALS)
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) or TNCC
- Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
- Immuniser Provider & Pharmacotherapeutics
Highly desirable:
- Post‑graduate qualifications
- Experience in Australian primary healthcare, remote clinics, or rural emergency care
