As the Women’s Health Educator, you will be responsible for overseeing, monitoring and ensuring that evidence-based Women’s Health services are provided within the Central Australia Region.
You’ll work collaboratively with a range of service providers to build and maintain capacity of women’s health services in remote communities through clinical support, facilitating accredited training, mentoring and orientation of staff.
You’ll also travel to remote areas on a regular basis by road, light plane and to stay for up to a week as required.
About you
To be successful you’ll have:
- Current Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility to obtain
- Demonstrated training or experience in developing and/or delivering education theory and practice.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and application of adult learning principles to deliver high quality clinical and education practice.
- Experience driving a manual vehicle and eligibility to obtain a NT Drivers Licence
Ongoing appointment is subject to attainment of Graduate Diploma, or equivalent, beyond entry-to-practice in Women’s Health or related area.
