Drive clinical excellence across East Arnhem—lead safety, quality, and accreditation in remote health with impact, adventure, and purpose.

 

As the CQI Facilitator, you will be responsible for managing the clinical safety, quality, and accreditation program for Population and Primary Health Care (PPHC), working closely with Primary Health Care Centres across the East Arnhem region. You will provide key reports to the Director of PPHC and executive leadership, drive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, support system evaluations, and assist with investigations of serious adverse incidents in line with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

 

This role requires travel to remote communities by light aircraft or 4WD. Applicants must hold, or be able to obtain, an NT manual driver’s licence.

About you

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes and driving continuous improvement. To be successful you’ll have:

  • Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same.
  • Proven advanced clinical knowledge and skills, in Primary Health, or related area supported by strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proven proficiency in understanding and applying professional bodies of knowledge to provide advice and support
  • Experience supporting local/ regional policy development, interpreting policy and precedent, and contributing to change management initiatives.
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of social and cultural factors influencing the provision of health care

 

Ongoing appointment is subject to attainment of Graduate Diploma, or equivalent, beyond entry-to-practice in Safety and Quality or Primary Health Care, or related area.
