About the position

This position is available on a casual, fixed term, or permanent full-time basis (76 hours per fortnight). Casual and fixed-term appointments may be extended and/or lead to permanency.

The option to fly-in fly out or drive-in drive-out from other locations within the Midwest or Perth may be considered

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the team at Community Health team in Meekatharra.

To be successful, you will have…

  • Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Well developed nursing skills relevant to community, school and child health.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in applying the principles of primary health into clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate primary health programs.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence and the ability to travel throughout the region.

Position Profile:

Provides clinical services as part of the core community health programs such as immunisation, school health and child health. Responsible for providing quality primary health services to the community within their own levels of competency to meet planned health outcomes.
