The Clinical Midwife will play a hands-on role providing primary midwifery care to an allocated group of women within a supportive Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) model, delivering continuity of care in Cooktown and surrounding remote communities. Working collaboratively with a various health professionals to provide culturally safe, high-quality care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, while empowering women and families through education and health promotion. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander midwives are strongly encouraged to apply and join a committed team making a meaningful difference.
