The conference kicked off Wednesday evening with a reception at the Alice Springs Civic Centre amphitheatre featuring One Fire Dance Group and Drum Atewme. The Honorable Warren Snowdon MP, Minister for Indigenous Health, Rural and Regional Services Deliver was on hand to open the conference and welcome delegates to Alice Springs.
